I’m super excited today to be introducing a brand new service at the studio: Squarespace Fridays!
Squarespace Fridays is a service where you can book me, by the hour, to dive into your existing Squarespace website and make things better.
Every Friday (in case that wasn’t clear 😆).
If you’ve been staring at your Squarespace site, desperate to change a few things - layout, fonts, the mobile version - but you just don’t know where to begin, or don’t have the energy or time, then a Squarespace Friday session is just for you!
Maybe your ‘to-do list’ is a mile long, but you don’t have time (or budget) for a full site redesign right now…
Now, you can book in some time with me, by the hour, and I’ll get to work on all the things that have been bugging you on your website.
And no, you don’t have to be an author to take advantage of this! I’m really happy to work with all kinds of small businesses and other creatives.
I believe your website should be working for you, not against you.
And sometimes, you just need someone with experience to jump in and get things moving.

What can we actually do in a Squarespace Friday session?
Well, basically, anything you like, provided it’s on your Squarespace website!
Here are some examples of what I can help you with:

Basically, if you’re looking for a change or fix inside your Squarespace website, and the site is live (not in trial mode), then I’m your woman!
Who is Squarespace Fridays for?
This new service is a great fit if you:
Have bits and pieces of your site you’d like to improve, but you’re stuck or scared of messing things up
Built the site yourself (go you!) but want to polish things with a pro
Don’t have the budget or time right now for a full redesign
Need help right now, without waiting weeks or months for my next available design slot
Want someone to bounce ideas off: to pick my brain about web design or newsletters
You don’t need to be an author (though many of my clients are). As long as your site is on Squarespace 7.1 and already live, you’re good to go.
How Squarespace Fridays work
Here’s what booking and collaborating with me looks like:

Choose your slot
You pick a Friday that works for you. (I typically have availability within a fortnight so this is great if you’re in need or urgent help or support).Submit your wishlist
Tell me what you’d like me to help with. I don’t expect you to have it all figured out — I’ll guide you if you don’t, or just take what you give me and run with it.Confirm & pay
A 50% deposit secures your slot in my calendar.Sit back & relax
Your Friday comes and I make the changes we’ve discussed. When we’re done, I’ll email you with the results.
You can book a 1-hour minimum, or go for multiple hours if you have a lot of changes you’d like made. You can also spread sessions over time.
If you’re not sure how much time you need, just send me your list and I’ll help you estimate.
Investment: £150 per hour.
Important details:
Only for live Squarespace sites - unfortunately this service is not available for sites that are still in trial mode, and I don’t work on other platforms such as Wix or Wordpress.
Cancellation or rescheduling is allowed up to 48 hours before. After that, your deposit is non-refundable (but I’ll try to help if something comes up).
I don’t cover domain setup, email configuration, or issues outside of the Squarespace platform - this time is strictly “hands-on in your Squarespace site” work.
Why I’ve introduced Squarespace Fridays
I know there are a lot of people out there who could do with some help on their websites.
But I also know there are lot of people out there who don’t have the budget (especially authors!) to pay a web designer to build their websites from scratch for them.
I was already offering Friday slots to my past web design clients - they could book in if they needed to make an update or wanted some help with their website.
It’s been working really well, and I thought it made sense to offer this up to a broader audience.
For me, I find it immensely satisfying helping people to tidy up their websites - and for you guys, I hope it’s a time-saver and a relief too!

Q: How soon can I book?
Usually within a week or two. If you’re in a hurry, just reach out and I’ll see what I can do.
Q: What if I don’t know what updates I need?
No worries. Tell me what’s bugging you about your site, or what feels off. I’ll look over it before our session and come up with a realistic plan to get the most done.
Q: Can I book more than one hour?
Absolutely. You can book multiple hours or multiple sessions. If you’re unsure, send me what you’d like done and I’ll help you estimate.
Q: Do you offer ongoing support?
Yes! Many clients return for tweaks and help over time. If you like, I can build you a custom support package so you always have time reserved.
Q: What about everything outside Squarespace: domains, email, etc.?
Squarespace Fridays is focused on your site itself. I don’t handle domains, email setup, or non-Squarespace platform work during these sessions. If that’s something you need help with, I can point you toward resources or someone specialising in those.

I have to confess, I have resisted offering a service like this for a long time.
I worried that the admin side of it (dealing with multiple clients for small amounts of work) would become overwhelming.
However, as I said before, I’ve been essentially offering this service to my past clients for a couple of years now and it works really well.
And I know there are tons more people who could benefit from some highly targeted quick support with their websites.
