Squarespace Campaigns is a newsletter platform. It's a much simpler, easy-to-use alternative to Mailchimp or Mailerite, and I highly recommend it for all authors with Squarespace websites. It allows you to manage your newsletter from the same place as your author website - saving you time and keeping things simple!
I designed this course specifically to help the many authors I speak to who have Squarespace websites set up, but have yet to sort out their author newsletter.

Hi! I’m Charlotte Duckworth, and I design beautiful Squarespace websites for authors.
I’ve built more than 50 author websites on Squarespace, many for Sunday Times bestselling authors. I love sharing my knowledge to help my fellow authors harness the power of technology to build their career dreams.
Oh and I’m also an author myself! I’ve had six novels traditionally published (one was a USA Today bestseller!), and have two more under contract.
So I know exactly what you need on your author website to make sure it does your writing career justice!

Yes you do. Campaigns is an integrated email platform and unfortunately you can't use it if your website is hosted elsewhere (ie on Wordpress).

You can easily complete this course in a day! By the end you will have designed and created your very own professional and beautiful author newsletter, ready to send.

The course consists of 15 video lessons that you can complete in your own time. There's no live element. You'll get lifetime course access, so you can take it at your own pace!

A computer and good wifi. And perhaps a coffee! Also, before you start the course, you'll need to spend some time preparing the content for your newsletter. Then it will be ready and waiting to populate your shiny new newsletter template!

This is a self-paced course and I won't be able to offer feedback on your author newsletter. All the information you need to set up and send your newsletter is included in the lessons. I'm confident that by the end you won't need me any longer!

Absolutely! It's great that you have already started to build your author mailing list but don't worry, we can move your subscribers across from your existing newsletter platform to Squarespace. It's easy peasy and I show you how to do this in the course.
