I'm a Squarespace Circle Platinum member!
I’m so excited to share that I’m now a Squarespace Platinum Partner - the highest level of Squarespace’s Circle partnership programme!
Squarespace Circle is basically a way for professional website designers to partner directly with Squarespace and become part of their pro community.
There are three levels of membership (you are allocated your level by Squarespace, depending on how experienced you are on the platform): Silver, Gold and Platinum.
I had a call with Squarespace last week where I was informed that only 0.5% (!) of all Squarespace Circle members are Platinum, so it is actually a real honour and I feel really, really proud to have moved from Gold to Platinum! 😎
I have worked on a ton of websites this year - 20 built from scratch, while I’ve updated countless others - which means I have spent a LOT of time on the platform.
I love being an ‘expert’ at Squarespace and knowing that I can solve most of the problems my clients bring to me.
And being acknowledged as basically one of the most experienced Squarespace designers in the world (!) feels like a pretty epic achievement, especially in light of the blog post I wrote earlier this year about my identity as a writer.
What does this mean for my clients?
But more than it being a nice ego stroke for me, becoming a Platinum partner means I can offer a few more cool things to my clients including:
25% off new annual Squarespace subscriptions: Gold members get a 20% discount to share with their clients, but now I can offer 25% off my clients’ first year’s Squarespace fees, which is awesome.
Early access to new features: Squarespace are constantly innovating and adding new and exciting features to the platform, which I get early access to and all the insider knowledge.
Priority support from Squarespace: this means that when my clients have issues, I can get help from Squarespace more quickly.
I also get extended trial periods for my clients - up to a year (although as yet I have never had a client leave their website in trial mode for that long!).
Life as a novelist-cum-web-designer
I’m going through quite a weird phase at the moment with my writing.
My original editor has left my publisher - she stayed with me through six entire novels and was such a great support.
I know from (slightly-bitter) experience it’s never really the same once your editor leaves!
PS My new thriller Connie is out in January 2026!

It’s made me contemplate the future of my writing career and although I am (as always!) working on a new novel right now, I am thinking a lot about my work-future and what I want it to look like.
Writing is such an unpredictable thing to do for a job, and honestly my promotion to Platinum couldn’t have come at a better time 😊
It’s a reminder that I can be successful at something other than writing - AND that I can enjoy it too!
I love being a web designer.
Here’s to 2026 and lots more fabulous author websites!
